Our Story
Built Around Your Time
Americuts began because good haircuts were costing people their Saturday mornings. Marcus was turning away clients who could not make the shop hours, so he started taking the shop to them instead.
Twelve years on, that is still the whole business. We bring the chair, the clippers, the hot towels and the same standard you would expect from a high-end shop — to your kitchen, your office or your hotel room.
Our mission is simple: remove every reason a person has to settle for a haircut they do not like.

How We Got Here
A Brief History
2014
One Chair, One Barber
Marcus started Americuts out of a single rented chair in downtown Columbus, cutting evenings and weekends.
2017
Going Mobile
After too many clients asked for house calls, we sold the chair and built the first fully mobile kit.
2021
The Team Grows
David, James and Alex joined, letting us cover the whole metro area seven days a week.
2026
Five Thousand Cuts Later
Still mobile, still senior barbers only, and still taking bookings one client at a time.
